The Zomi Political Coordination Council (ZPCC) extends its highest commendation to the 40th Batch of the ZRAEC, whose Passing Out Parade was successfully conducted on 15 November 2025 (local time) at Olive Camp.
The ceremony marks a significant milestone in the continuity of Zogam’s national defense, carried out in accordance with the Zogam Charter, which mandates ZRA-EC as the sole legitimate armed force responsible for safeguarding Zomi land, identity, peace, and security.
Ceremony Highlights
The formal program commenced with an Opening Prayer led by Rev. Lal, invoking God’s blessing upon the defenders of Zogam.
Sir Miller delivered the Welcome Address, acknowledging the sacrifices and discipline of the graduating batch.
The Parade of the 40th Batch, led by Parade Commander Jeff of Olive Camp, demonstrated the readiness, discipline, and cohesion expected of units serving under the authority of ZPCC’s Defense Department and ZRA-EC leadership. The parade was conducted under the supervision of the Parade Adjutant and Colonel Mason, Commander-in-Chief, ZRA-EC.
A formal Inspection March Pass followed, before cadets took their Oath of Service, administered by Col. Mason, pledging allegiance to:
- The Zomi people,
- The land of Zogam, and
- The principles of the Zogam Charter.
Cultural, Spiritual, and Strategic Inputs
The event incorporated a blend of spiritual reflection, cultural expression, and strategic motivation:
- Rev. Mang offered a special prayer and encouragement to reinforce perseverance in the national cause.
- A Special Number was presented by Zawmte Zomi and Haupi.
- A special defense tactic showcasing technical and innovative capabilities by the Zogam Tangvalte.
- Pastor Sum provided further moral and strategic guidance on unity, ethics, and coordinated national action.
Excellence in training was honored with awards for Best Fitness, Marksmanship, Best Firing, Best Character, top drill performance, and moral character assessments for Best Cadet, presented during the ceremony.
Institutional Remarks
–The President of ZVC delivered a formal message emphasizing the role of the 40th batch in strengthening Zomi defense and national service.
-The General Secretary of ZVC served as the Conductor during the ceremony.
-Sergeant J.K., Camp Commander, provided leadership reflections through Votes of Thanks.
-Pastor Kap concluded with a Closing Prayer, invoking unity and divine blessing for the new defenders of Zogam.
The program closed with a Photo Session, marking the successful commissioning of the new cadets.
The ZPCC affirms that this Passing Out Parade:
- Strengthens Zogam’s security capacity;
- Reflects the operational maturity of ZRA-EC under the Zogam Charter;
- Demonstrates Zomi unity and discipline during a critical period of regional instability;
